Speedy 300, Trotec's benchtop CO2 laser system

Laser Pointer

Speedy 300 offers visual representation of the laser beam to ensure accurate positioning of the processing head prior to the start of the job, and clearly identify the starting point for laser engraving and cutting. This is especially useful during set up with items that are irregular in shape, or require precise positioning.

Auto-Focus

Trotec offers two methods of auto-focus: standard electro-optical, and the proprietary, software-based auto-focus feature automatically included with the built-in JobControl. This provides users with the flexibility to choose which method is more comfortable for them.

Air Assist

Trotec's air assist technology prevents the combustion of flammable materials, and improves removal of dust during laser engraving and cutting tasks. It also offers additional protection for your laser system's lens. Air assist is remotely controlled via the built-in JobControl software.

Cutting Table

For laser cutting, the Speedy 300 includes a cutting table, offering a reduced surface area to minimize the reflection of the laser beam and reduce burning on the underside of the material. Air and fumes are drawn through the table's honeycomb surface, which also helps keep the processing area clean. The table is equipped with straightedge rulers and fixing clamps to enable accurate positioning for laser cutting.

Rotary Engraving Device

The Speedy 300 laser engraving machine also features a plug-and-play rotary engraving device to simplify the laser engraving of cylindrical, conical or spherical objects such as glasses or bottles. Objects up to 400 mm (15.75 in.) long and with a diameter between 0.04 and 6.25 in. (1 mm and 160 mm) may be affixed to the device. The fixture may be inclined from 0-12° for conical objects. The spring-mounted clamping device also makes loading and unloading from the laser system a snap.

Exhaust Systems

A powerful exhaust system is absolutely imperative for the continued safe operation of your laser machine, and can offer much-needed protection for you, your employees and the environment. Trotec offers a broad range of exhaust systems that can be used with the Speedy 300 for any type of laser application.

Harsh Environment Kit
The Speedy 300 laser engraving machine is designed to withstand the harsh environment around it, and features additional protection during contaminant-intensive laser applications such as the production of rubber, wood and acrylic. This eliminates the need to clean components near the processing area - which means that you can keep your laser machine running at all times, without interruptions for maintenance.

Trolley Base
Every laser engraving and cutting machine is supplied standard with a mobile trolley base.

The Speedy 300 laser system may optionally be fitted with a trolley base that also features a storage shelf. This keeps the area around the laser machine tidy, offering convenient storage for the rotary engraving device, the laser cutting table or various laser consumables such as laminates or laser rubber.

JobControl Software
All of Trotec's CO2 laser systems include our JobControl laser job management software, offering the fast and easy management of all laser engraving and cutting jobs.

Lenses
Different laser applications require different lenses to achieve an optimum result. Speedy II offers a variety of lenses, including:

1.5 inch lens: best for fine laser engraving tasks (typefaces as small as 3 pt. are possible)
2.0 inch lens: best for all laser cutting and engraving tasks.
2.5 inch lens: best for all laser cutting and engraving tasks.
4.0 inch lens: best for laser cutting tasks.

Ferromagnetic Processing Table
This standard feature permits objects that may tend to shift or flex during laser cutting, such as paper or cloth, to be held in place with magnets. The table is manufactured from two sheets of stainless steel bonded to a plastic insert. This provides the flattest possible work platform and the structural strength to support up to 20 kg.

E-Commerce Connection
Real-time communication is an essential part of today's laser projects. That's why Speedy II offers E-commerce Connection, which allows users to communicate about laser jobs directly with their customers - reducing handling, job adjustment and proofreading tasks. Customers can prepare text and logos online, and transmit the laser job directly to your laser software.

Laser Power Output Upgrade
By taking advantage of the Speedy 300's output upgrade (up to 100 watt), users can increase the productivity of their laser engraving machine for the long term - instead of replacing it down the road.

Variable Outlet Connector
The outlet connector included with the Speedy 300 can easily be replaced if a different exhaust system is required.
