Wood Engraving and Cutting with Trotec Laser Equipment

Laser wood engraving can be conducted using a very low laser output (watts). At Trotec we recommend a 60 Watt Speedy or – even better – a 100 Watt laser system for professional laser wood cutting. This makes it possible to implement mass production and also to complete bulk orders efficiently.

In general higher outputs are required for laser wood engraving. However, the laser output required depends greatly on the thickness and hardness of the wood. For more extensive cutting applications we recommend using the TP1313 with at least 200 Watt. A 300 Watt unit is advisable for cutting punch shapes.
