Ensure the engraving depth is sufficient (0.8 - 1.2 mm) to achieve the best possible print. Select the flanks (flat - medium - steep) using the AD-Logic software. It is recommended that the individual text plates are not cut right through when engraving a whole A4 plate so that cleaning the plate is easier.

Note that micropourous rubber tends to burn when processed with lasers. To prevent flaming, the use of an additional air assist is absolutely necessary. Also, as for any laser process, never leave the machine unattended during engraving.
