| On April 3rd, the opening ceremony for the latest Trotec subsidiary Trotec Laser Japan Co. Ltd. took place at the Austrian Embassy in Tokyo together with the commercial delegate Dr. Laschan.
The foundation of this new subsidiary is an important step to continuously expand Trotec's presence on the Japanese market.
Trotec Laser Japan's offices will be located in Toyko. Just in time for the opening ceremony, also Trotec's web presence has been adapted: Trotec's website is now also available in japanese. |

| Trotec to Demonstrate Large Platform Class 2 Laser Cutting System at AWFS |

| Trotec Laser, Inc. will have their TP13131 Professional CO2 laser cutting and engraving system at the AWFS show in Las Vegas July 27-30, 2005. This laser has a 51" x 51" work area with pass-through capability and is currently available with lasers up to 240W. The system is designed for precise cutting and/or engraving of wood, acrylic, marble and many other materials.
Trotec offers a broad range of laser cutting, marking and engraving systems using both CO2 and YAG laser sources. We offer both high speed flying-optic and beam-steered galvo motion systems.
Trotec is located in Ypsilanti, MI with sales offices located throughout the US and Canada.

Trodat Poland recently exhibited at EURO-REKLAMA 2005, which was held in Poznan from the 19th to the 22nd of April. The Euro-Reklama is an international exhibition for the advertising industry and represents the most important fair within this segment in Poland.
Trodat Poland also participated in the competition that took place within the context of Euro-Reklama and presented the Trotec FineMarker in the category "machines". Trodat Poland is proud to announce that they won the gold medal! Out of 40 new machines and accessories, the Trotec FineMarker was chosen to be the best!

| USA: Department of Defence Unique Identification Requirements |

In order to improve fiscal & logistic management the Department of Defense is requiring that equipment and spare parts be marked with a unique machine readable identification (UID). While all standards and policy implementation have not yet been established, we have determined that Trotec laser systems can mark on many of the materials required and are compatible with the required machine readable codes. |

Trotec Laser, Inc. (TLI) the exclusive distributor of Trotec laser engraving and cutting systems in the US and Canada opened their new headquarters in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The facility will house the primary distribution and service operations as well as some sales and marketing functions.
"This Midwest location places us in the center of the largest market for industrial laser customers in North America which is the most rapidly growing portion of our business" states Andreas Penz, President of TLI. "It also provides an easily accessible location for visitors to our new demonstration and applications lab. Additionally it met the needs of our key technical and support personnel" continues Penz.
Trotec has become one on the world's leading manufacturers of laser engraving and cutting systems since the introduction of their first Austrian manufactured Speedy models in 1997. TLI was formed as a US subsidiary in 2002 to directly distribute and service the Trotec products in North America. |

| Speedy FineMarker - Large Format Nd:YAG Laser Engraving & Marking System |

| Trotec has introduced the Speedy FineMarker, an Nd:YAG laser system with an active working area of 29" x 17" (730 x 436 mm) , much larger than typical galvo designs. This permits marking of multiple parts in one setup or in multiple locations on large surfaces. The systems use Trotec's high-speed gantry type flying optics motion system that was originally developed for their CO2 laser systems. The systems are intended for marking on plastic by inducing a color change, direct marking on a wide range of metals and for the removal of surface coatings. |
