The annual competition was based on representative staff opinion polls on the quality of the work place culture, such as trust in the management, team orientation and identification, as well as a management questionnaire on the work on staff in the company.

The Trodat-Group has once more succeeded in landing in the TOP 10 after the Austria-wide competition and it received the mark of quality, "Austria's best employer 2005", when the prizes were presented at an event held in the presence of Federal Minister Rauch-Kallat and WKOE Vice President KommR Roemer, where the Trodat-Group was ranked in seventh place in Austria.
